Click2Sure, a Cape Town-based insurtech company has raised an undisclosed figure (multi-million in rands) from US-based venture capital firm SixThirty to help the startup expand its operations according to a press statement by the startup.
Launched in 2017, Click2Sure is a full-stack digital insurance platform that enables retailers, service providers, distributors and brokers to bolt on a selection of over 20 custom-developed insurance products at the point of sale.
Daniel Guasco, co-founder explains Click2Sure explained, “Click2Sure doesn’t sell insurance. We provide our clients who sell insurance with a comprehensive cloud-based, digital platform for the distribution, management and purchasing of insurance at the point of sale,” said Guasco.
SixThirty invests early-stage enterprise technology companies building insurTech, fintech and cybersecurity solutions is investing in an African company for the first time.
In addition to capital investment, SixThirty helps in the promotion of Click2Sure’s focus on ensuring businesses that offer insurance take advantage of the benefits of digitization.
