Indonesia-based B2B tech-enabled logistics startup Logisly has announced it has raised US$6 million in a Series A round of funding. The round of funding was led by Monk’s Hill Ventures a Singapore-headquartered early stage investor.
This startup will use the fresh capital infusion to scale its operations in Indonesia by growing its sales and vendor acquisition teams and strengthen its network of shipper and movers.
Started in 2019 Roolin Njotosetiadi and Robbi Baskoro Logisly is an e-forwarding startup that builds network of shippers and trucking companies. The startup verifies shippers and trucking companies before adding them to their network to create a single point of order. The startup also provides relevant tech support for its network.
Njotosetiadi said: “We are focused on digitising the logistics industry in Indonesia, which remains largely fragmented. The industry continues to face a plethora of challenges such as fragmented ecosystem players, high logistics costs, manual processes and unreliable drivers and transporters.”
Waresix and Kargo are some other e-forwarding companies that are focused on the Indonesia logistics industry.
