See-Mode Technologies, a Singapore- and Australia-based Medtech has announced it has raised US$7 million Series A funding in a statement. The round of funding was led by Mass Mutual Ventures Southeast Asia (MMV SEA) with participation from existing investors namely investors Blackbird Ventures, Cocoon Capital, Entrepreneur First, and SGInnovate. A group of angel investors also partook in the funding round.
This current round of funding brings See-Mode’s total funding to date to US$8 million. This includes a US$1M seed round raised in 2018.
Management of See-Mode Technologies plans to use the fresh funds for expansion into the other regional markets such as the Americas and European markets. They also intend to invest in R&D, hire some talents, and build its sales and business development team.
Established in 2017 by Dr Mohammadzadeh and Dr. Sadaf Monajemi, See-Mode uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help physicians better predict the risk of stroke and vascular diseases in patients.
